Utmost Renovations has been awarded another large masonry and chimney repair and brick restoration project with the owners of the Mt. Vernon Plaza Residential Towers. The project will kick off in the spring of 2022. The scope of work includes cleaning the masonry walls and chimneys, spot-tuckpointing open, failed, or cracked mortar joints, cutting out and re-caulking the vertical and horizontal control joints between the walls and the floors, replacing large utility bricks as needed, and applying a penetrating water repellent and masonry sealer to the brick masonry. Utmost Renovations will provide the owners with an entire three-year labor and materials warranty and a ten-year manufacturer’s material warranty for the water repellent. The owners easily selected Utmost as we have performed several successful projects for them on this particular property and many others in Ohio and Michigan over the last twenty years.
