Our Mission and Process Make us Unique
The public often asks us about the meaning of the Utmost Renovations logo and name. So, allow us to explain. First, the logo is a crest of sorts. It has a blue cross on a white shield denoting a coat of arms that is loosely fashioned after the founder and owner of Utmost Renovations, Mark Huffer’s, forefathers’ coat of arms in Scotland Ireland, England and Germany. In fact, Huffer’s mother’s maiden name is Crawford of Scottish origin and the Crawford’s surname and coat of arms slogan literally means “I will render you safe with my strength”.
The Utmost Renovations logo is a crest which contains within each quadrant on the shield the main elements in nature — heat(fire), wind, rain (water), ground/earth and lightning that damage masonry and all property for that matter. Utmost Renovations, through properly restoring and maintaining the structural integrity of its customer’s masonry and properties, protects them from the elements while making them look beautiful and original again.
The name Utmost has its roots in Christianity as the name was given to the founder/owner from a daily devotional titled “My Utmost for His Highest” by Oswald Chambers. Hence, Utmost strives hard to take great care of its customers and all of its business relationships. Utmost takes pride in its ability to promptly provide superior service and quality workmanship to its valued customers. Our mission is simple. Do our utmost at everything and for all equally. The company operates extremely efficiently and always is in the black. Hence, we are able and willing to offer longer term warranties, provide overall better finished projects, and far superior customer service than any of its competitors–hands down! All this while still being very competitively priced as Utmost is honest and treats everyone fair. Utmost simply offers an unmatched overall value to its customers. Hence, the slogan, “Protecting and Restoring Property with Integrity and Quality”.
Although we try to do it right every time, we are not perfect and have had a few failures though small and inconsequential. But more importantly, we have always made it right and fixed it to the customer’s satisfaction in a timely manner. You can’t ask for more than that in an imperfect world. We take pride in our ability to follow through and 99% or more of the time we do the job right the first time. On those few occasions there has been a problem we have made it right for our customers. I’m not certain how many of our competitors can state the same claim. Hence, we have a very high retention rate. We do what we say we will do and we do it well!

The owner, Mark Huffer is also an active member of professional organizations in the building trades such as BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) and IFMA (International Facilities Management Association).
